of bad decisions
next to an even longer line
of chances never taken
out of fear
i take full responsibility
for all of it
even the grand i lent you
i should’ve known
i could kiss that goodbye too
the warning signs were everywhere
in bright neon lights
with bells and whistles
sometimes we only see what we want to see
i saw a pretty boy
who drew pretty pictures
whose pretty eyes looking at me
made me feel pretty
for the first time
in years
looks can be so deceiving….
i heard Arizona didn’t work out
that’s a shame
i thought the desert would be perfect for you
since you’re a fucking cactus
i wonder who you’re pricking now
